mgef INNOVATION grants

MGEF INNOVATION GRANTS
The Monona Grove Education Foundation Innovation Grants support creative initiatives and educator training that cannot be funded through the regular school budget. This includes projects or programs that enhance the existing curriculum, enrich the educational opportunities or support meritorious extra-curricular projects, including funding fine arts throughout the District.

Ann Ahearn Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship

The Ann Ahearn Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship integrates a passion for social justice and equity, with the desire to make a college degree more affordable for a high school student of color. A scholarship will be awarded each year to a college-bound high school senior in the Monona Grove School District who has exhibited the qualities and ideals that Ann displayed throughout her life.

James F. Green Memorial Fund

The James F. Green Memorial Fund provides one or more annual grants to teachers and support staff members in the Monona Grove School District to support the development of programs and projects which have the potential to enhance the education of Elementary School-Level Monona Grove students.

Application Deadline: January 31, 2023.

Glenn & Lucille Onsager Family Scholarship

The grant should be used to attend a workshop, conference or seminar that is related to the staff member’s teaching assignment. Any individual or group of Monona Grove School District teachers or support services staff members, from grades 4K through 12, is eligible to apply for this grant.

Application Deadline: January 31, 2023.

Ed Young Special Projects Grant

The Ed Young Special Projects Grant provides one or more annual grant awards to teachers and support staff members in the Monona Grove School District to support the development or enhancement of innovative programs/projects which have the potential to enhance the education of Monona Grove School District students at the secondary level.

Application Deadline: January 31, 2023.
